Week 8 - Prints and Projections
This week, I downloaded all of the videos that I plan to use for the current iteration of this project to my external drive. I named each video and sorted them by their orientation and general time frame. I also designed and 3D printed a device to hold my phone in the chair. I created some templates to help with my projection mapping without needing to be playing the videos over and over until the mapping is mostly done.
My main goal in this upcoming week is to use the projector to figure out what the projection will look like in the final product. The way I will put the videos together, and the angles they play at, depends on how wide the projector can actually go. Once that is done, I just have to finish putting all the videos in their spots using both TouchDesigner and Premiere Pro. After that, I just have to bring the chair down and set everything up for our critique on March 20th. I've already talked to my dad about making plans to get the chair to the Fine Arts Building earlier that week, and will talk to some friends about helping me get it into the Ceramics Critique Room the day of. I also reserved time in the room for the day of the presentation and this upcoming Tuesday to work on the projection mapping.
